SEEKING MARRIAGE IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH?
Would you like to have your wedding at St. Philip Parish? Engaged couples are asked to call the Parish Office for information regarding the process leading to the Sacrament of Matrimony. Each engaged couple must complete an initial intake meeting with the priest prior to the selection of a wedding date. Weddings at St. Philip Parish may be celebrated on Friday evenings at 5:00pm or Saturdays at 2:00pm.
Diocesan policy also asks that a six-month period of preparation take place prior to any wedding. Couples are also asked to complete an approved Pre-Cana workshop. We strongly recommend waiting to book your reception venue until you have met with the priest. This will ensure that there are no impediments preventing a wedding in the Catholic Church and enable you to secure a wedding date.
