Saint Philip Faith Formation will host a First Eucharist Retreat on Sunday, April 28 on the Saint Philip campus.
The afternoon begins at 12:00pm with lunch and following lunch there will be activities to help children and families prepare for First Eucharist. The day will conclude at 3:00pm with rehearsal and prayer.
Please keep our students who will be receiving their First Holy Communion in your prayers.

Saint Philip will hold a May Crowning on Monday, April 29 beginning at 6:30pm in the Courtyard of St. Philip Church.
There will be a procession into the church accompanied by prayers and hymns to Mary, the Mother of God. Our 2nd grade will participate in a special way to crown and honor Mary throughout the month of May.
The evening will conclude with an ice cream Sundae Social (ice cream, toppings, whipped cream) in the cafeteria. All are welcome!

First Saturdays with Mary: The Blessed Mother requested that 5 First Saturdays be offered in reparation to her Immaculate Heart.
Join us at Ascension church on Saturday, May 4 and Saturday June 1 at 8:00am for the final two First Saturdays with Mary. The mornings with include:
1. Mass and Holy Communion
2. Confession within 8 days before or after the First Saturday
3. 5 decades of the Rosary prayed that day
4. 15 minutes of meditation on the mysteries
Mary's Tea: Join us for an afternoon tea on May 15 from 11:00am to 1:00pm in Ascension Church Conner Hall.
The afternoon will include finger sandwiches, sweet breads, fruit, a variety of cakes, and tea. Following the meal, we will discuss Praying with Our Experiences and Stresses.

Join us for an afternoon of music at Saint Philip Parish! On Pentecost Sunday the renowned handbell ensemble RING! PITTSBURGH will perform a free concert.
Starting at 3:00pm in Ascension Church (114 Berry Street, Pittsburgh PA 15205) this talented group is set to perform an enchanting 60-minute program featuring a variety of handbell music that promises to be a delight for all ages. Free-will offerings are welcome. A reception will be held in Conner Hall immediately following the concert.
RING! PITTSBURGH was founded in 2016 as an auditioned community of musicians skilled in the art of handbell ringing. The ‘seasoned’ ringers educate and entertain audiences across southwestern Pennsylvania and seek to advance the knowledge and awareness of the art of handbell ringing.
