In observance of the last apparition of Fatima 106 years ago, and this year of Eucharistic Revival, there will be a Eucharistic Rosary Procession honoring Jesus and Mary at Ascension church.

Join us on Friday, October 13 at 6:30pm: the Luminous Mysteries will be prayed as we process around the church with the Eucharist, followed by a statue of Our Lady of Fatima. After we reenter the church, there will be 15 minutes of silent adoration. A short homily on the True Presence will be given.  Refreshments will be served in Conner Hall.

Also, join us for a Public Square Rosary held on Saturday, October 14 at 12:00 noon in the parking lot of Saint Philip Cemetery. Thousands of people will be praying the Rosary at noon that day in reparation for the sins of our nation through the intercession of Our Lady of Fatima. Please consider joining us for one or both Marian events.

Mental Health Awareness Ministry: We will offer an opportunity to learn about this program on Wednesday, October 18.

This year, Mental Health Awareness week is October 1-7, 2023. Perhaps you are looking for ways to understand and support a friend or family member or perhaps you are just searching for answers.

In our time together, we will discover the role of faith in mental health and hear what God, Scripture and the Church have to say in light of the unique challenges and experiences of mental health problems. We will be using the Sanctuary Course for Catholics. Our program begins at 6:30pm with a light meal followed by an introduction, prayer, video and discussion. Our evening concludes at 8:15pm.

If you would like to attend, register by calling 412-922-6388. All are welcome. You do not need to be Catholic to attend.
