Marriage PDF E-mail

Weddings are usually scheduled on Saturdays at either 2:00 P.M. or 6:00 P.M.  Diocesan policy requires participation in a Pre-Cana Program.  Because of the great demand for the use of St. Philip Church for weddings, only parishioners or former parishioners are permitted to reserve the church.  Engaged couples are to contact the parish office at least six months before the anticipated wedding.

Anointing of the Sick PDF E-mail

A short Communal Anointing of the Sick prayer service takes place on the first Saturday of each month immediately after the 8:30 A.M. Mass.  In addition, once a year during the month of October an Anointing of the Sick Mass is held during the 12 Noon Sunday Mass.  In the event of an emergency, please call the parish.  Also, when a parishioner is in a hospital, please be aware that a chaplain or a priest-on-call is always available for the sacrament of Anointing.

Ministry to the Sick and Homebound PDF E-mail

Arrangements for home visitation for the sacraments of Eucharist, Penance and Anointing of the Sick may be made by contacting the parish office. The priest brings Holy Communion to the home bound once each month.  In addition, Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist are available to bring the Eucharist to shut-ins on Sundays or at other times during the week.

Current privacy laws prevent hospitals from divulging whether or not a patient has been admitted.  So please call the parish office if you know of any parishioners who are hospitalized.  The priest will make every effort to make a pastoral visit.

Please also inform the parish office if a parishioner is in a nursing home.  If the nursing home is not too far away, members of the Legion of Mary and, when possible, the priest will visit the patient.
